-
What influenced you to start the Mighty Bargain Hunter?
I enjoy saving money and getting great deals, but overall I enjoy talking about different money topics. Just like any other blogger I enjoy putting my two cents in.
-
Where do you see the Mighty Bargain Hunter in about 2 years?
Hopefully still on the web instead of relegated to Wayback Machine!
Seriously though, two years from now I hope my blog continues to be a useful, if perhaps a bit unusual, voice in personal finance.
-
Where do you get the ideas for you blogs?
Often from my own experience, and often from other bloggers. More recently from questions asked over at my new site, Cash Commons.
-
What is your favorite topic to blog about?
Lately my stronger opinions have been with commentary on the economy and mainstream investment advice.
-
Among your readers, what is the most popular topic on the Mighty Bargain Hunter?
I got some good comments on my Back to Basics series.
-
What is some advice you could give our readers who are avid shoppers on a budget?
Buy used if it makes sense. That’s my very best money tip. Holiday gifts need not all be brand-new.
